I have lived in Sewanee for over 30 years and have worked for the University since 1997. I have been in the same house on University Avenue since 1994. A long time ago, when I lived in CT, I had a pet chicken named Annabel and she was SUCH fun! It's a terribly European thing to do - having chickens in the yard. So in 2006-ish when my daughter's pet rabbit died, I decided to put a couple of chickens into the cage I'd built for Bunny. Two years later - our saga begins...
